Dear friends,

We would like to have your support on this important matter. You can support this action as an individual or for your organization. This is not a political action as we are protesting against discriminatory practices, not specifically advocating for one candidate.

There are currently 22 million Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the US and our population is the best educated and increasing the fastest. Three of them are Democratic Presidential Candidates. Never-the-less, Andrew Yang was singled out, marginalized and not treated equally during the presidential debate hosted by MSNBC in Atlanta on November 20, 2019, and on other occasions:

* MSNBC did not let Andrew Yang speak for the first 32 minutes of the two-hour debate.

* Andrew only received 6.8 minutes speaking time, barely over half of the amount of the time Sen. Warren spoke (13.4 minutes).

* Andrew was left out 15 times in MSNBC’s reporting of presidential candidates while including others who polled lower than him.

80-20 PAC and APAPA (Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association) have drafted a letter about its unfair coverage of Andrew Yang. We would like to ask the support of you and your organization to co-sign this letter. We must hold the media accountable for fair, equal and transparent reporting.

The letter can be accessed here:   http://bit.ly/Letter2MSNBC. Please provide your information in the form below so we can include in the letter:   http://bit.ly/SignOnLetter2MSNBC

Please support this letter, sign the form and send it to your friends to ask for their support. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
